The Winter Session of Parliament will take place from December 1 to 19, 2025, as announced by Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Saturday. The decision, approved by President Droupadi Murmu, was officially shared by Rijiju on X (formerly Twitter). He noted that the session dates may be adjusted depending on the “exigencies of parliamentary business,” but the government aims to conduct all legislative discussions within the planned timeframe.

In his post, Rijiju emphasized the importance of a “constructive and meaningful” session that reflects the aspirations of the people and strengthens India’s democracy.
