The Telangana government has declared Dasara holidays for schools from October 2 to 14, with classes resuming on October 15. This 13-day break is a welcome relief for students, and private schools have also announced their own holiday schedule, starting from October 1. Following the Dasara holidays, the next long break is scheduled for the final week of December for Christmas and in January for Shankranti.

The academic schedule for the rest of the year is also out. Summative Assessment 1 (SA 1) will take place from October 21 to 28, while Formative Assessment 3 (FA 3) needs to be completed before December 17. Formative Assessment 4 (FA 4) for Class X is scheduled for January 29, 2025, and for Classes I to IX by February 28, 2025. Summative Assessment 2 (SA 2) will be held from April 9 to 19, 2025, for Classes I to IX.

Other important dates include pre-final exams for Class X before February 28, 2025, and the SSC Board Exams planned for March 2025. With the holiday and exam schedules announced, students and parents can plan ahead and make the most of the breaks.
