Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah Faces Resignation Calls Amid MUDA Scam Allegations

The BJP is demanding Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s resignation after the High Court dismissed his plea challenging the governor’s sanction to investigate him in the alleged MUDA scam. Siddaramaiah claims the BJP and JD(S) are targeting him for standing up for the poor and fighting for social justice. He alleges that these parties cannot bear to see the pro-people schemes his government has introduced and are attempting to stop them.

The Karnataka High Court dismissed Siddaramaiah’s petition, stating that the governor’s approval for investigation does not suffer from non-application of mind. The allegations revolve around MUDA illegally allotting 14 sites to Siddaramaiah’s wife in a prime Mysuru location.
