Gaza City: The humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate as the Health Ministry reported 10 more deaths due to famine and malnutrition over the past 24 hours, including two children. This brings the total number of hunger-related fatalities in Gaza to 313, with 119 of them being children. Families are struggling to survive as basic necessities, including food and medical supplies, remain scarce amid ongoing military operations.
Meanwhile, Israeli military actions in Gaza City have intensified, with tanks and warplanes targeting multiple residential areas, reportedly leveling entire blocks. According to medical sources, at least 23 Palestinians were killed across Gaza since dawn, including four individuals seeking aid. The violence has also prompted condemnation from the Palestinian Authority, which described recent raids in the occupied West Bank, particularly in Ramallah, as a “dangerous escalation” that left dozens injured.
Since the conflict began, Israel’s military campaign has resulted in the deaths of 62,819 Palestinians and left 158,629 injured. On the other side, attacks led by Hamas on October 7, 2023, caused 1,139 deaths in Israel, with over 200 people taken captive. The ongoing humanitarian crisis, compounded by food shortages and relentless conflict, has left civilians in Gaza facing severe suffering and uncertainty about their immediate future.
