In another road mishap involving a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus, a truck rammed into a stationary RTC vehicle at Aramghar crossroads in Hyderabad on Friday, November 7. The sudden impact caused panic among the passengers, several of whom suffered minor injuries. Eyewitnesses said the bus had halted due to traffic when the truck lost control and struck from behind. Rajendranagar police arrived at the scene, registered a case, and initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
A video of the accident circulating on social media shows the damaged rear section of the bus and anxious passengers checking on each other. One passenger was heard saying, “The RTC is done and dusted,” reflecting frustration over repeated incidents involving state-run buses. The impact damaged the tail lights and rear panels of the vehicle. Police sources confirmed that all injured passengers received immediate first aid and were declared out of danger.
This latest crash comes just days after a tragic accident on November 3, when a TGSRTC bus carrying around 70 passengers collided with a tipper truck loaded with crushed concrete at Mirzaguda on Chevella Road, killing 17 people on the spot. The recurring mishaps have raised serious safety concerns about RTC bus operations in Telangana, with citizens demanding stricter driver training and better road safety enforcement.
