A chargesheet filed by Navi Mumbai Police has exposed a shocking plot to assassinate Bollywood actor Salman Khan, with a contract worth Rs 25 lakh issued by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The plan, allegedly orchestrated by the incarcerated gangster, involved using advanced firearms from Pakistan, including AK-47s, M16s, and AK92s, as well as the Turkish Zigana pistol [1).
The chargesheet names five individuals and reveals that the gang recruited minors to carry out the hit, who are currently in hiding in areas like Pune, Raigad, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Gujarat. Around 60 to 70 individuals were monitoring Salman Khan’s movements, particularly around his Bandra residence, Panvel farmhouse, and Goregaon Film City. The plot was developed between August 2023 and April 2024 [1).
