At the prestigious World Expo in Osaka, Japan, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy passionately promoted his state as a destination for global investments, particularly from Japanese firms. Leading the ‘Telangana Rising’ delegation, Mr. Reddy invited companies to explore opportunities in key sectors like urban infrastructure, circular economy, and environmental rejuvenation. He showcased ambitious state initiatives including the Musi River Rejuvenation, Regional Ring Road, Radial Roads, and the expansion of Hyderabad Metro Rail, positioning them as ideal avenues for Japanese collaboration.
The Chief Minister further emphasized Telangana’s readiness to partner in cutting-edge areas like Artificial Intelligence, software innovation, pharma and bulk drug manufacturing, green energy, tourism, agriculture, and textile production. He introduced the concept of ‘Future City’—a futuristic urban blueprint—urging Japanese investors to help design and co-create this vision. Mr. Reddy highlighted Hyderabad’s strategic advantages and called on companies to use the city as a springboard for both Indian and global markets.
Revanth Reddy also underlined the historical friendship between India and Japan, expressing a desire to transform it into long-term, innovation-driven partnerships. “We are here to create partnerships that empower people, inspire the future, and drive global innovation,” he stated during his speech. The delegation’s visit, he said, is aimed at building economic, cultural, and technological bridges that align with Telangana’s growth trajectory and Japan’s strengths in precision and innovation.
