Madrassa Students, Good Samaritan Brutally Attacked on Mumbai-Bound Train

A group of Madrassa students traveling to Mumbai were violently assaulted by two unidentified assailants, reportedly drunk, in a general coach of the train on Sunday. The attackers began beating the students, including minors, without provocation. When a fellow passenger, Sushil, intervened to stop the assault, the attackers turned on him as well, escalating the violence. Eyewitnesses described the attack as sudden and unprovoked, leaving the victims traumatized.

The incident came to light after a video went viral, sparking widespread outrage. Authorities have launched an investigation, but no arrests have been made so far. This incident bears a disturbing resemblance to a recent case where an elderly Muslim man, Haji Ashraf Munyar, was assaulted by his co-passengers on a train in Maharashtra. The accused in that case was identified as Aashu Avhad, son of a Special Reserved Police Force officer.
