Four Family Members Killed in Fatal Bus-Car Collision in Telangana’s Nalgonda District

Hyderabad: In a tragic road accident, four members of a family lost their lives after a private bus collided with a car in Telangana’s Nalgonda district during the early hours of Sunday, July 5. The accident took place near Peddakaparthy village in Chityal mandal at around 5 am. According to preliminary information, the private bus driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to ram into the car with tremendous force. The impact of the collision was so severe that the car was completely mangled, resulting in the deaths of four occupants on the spot. Among the deceased were two women and a young boy, while authorities are working to confirm the identities of all the victims.

Following the accident, emergency services and police personnel rushed to the spot and launched rescue and recovery operations. The bus driver sustained serious injuries in the crash and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Videos circulating on social media showed the devastating aftermath of the collision, with police officials examining the wreckage and a JCB machine being used to remove the crushed car from the roadway. The visuals highlighted the intensity of the impact and the challenges faced by rescue teams during the operation.

Speaking to media representatives, officials from Chityal police station stated that the accident occurred in the early morning hours and that a case has been registered under Section 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for causing death due to negligent driving. Police have initiated a detailed investigation to determine the exact circumstances that led to the accident and whether factors such as overspeeding, driver fatigue, or mechanical failure played a role. The tragic incident has once again raised concerns over road safety and the need for stricter enforcement of traffic regulations on highways across Telangana.
