Chaos in Chaitanyapuri: Miscreants Attack Private Bus, Smash Windows in Drunken Rage

Tension gripped Hyderabad’s Chaitanyapuri area on Saturday evening when a group of intoxicated men attacked a private bus near Kothapet metro pillar number 1629. The bus, which was en route from Patancheru to Andhra Pradesh, came under a sudden assault after the miscreants alleged it had collided with their car. Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers began pelting stones and shattered several windows, leaving passengers terrified and the driver injured.

Police officials confirmed that the accused were under the influence of substances at the time of the incident. Their baseless claim about the bus “hitting” their car quickly escalated into violence. The scene turned chaotic as commuters tried to flee for safety, while local residents alerted the authorities. Swift action from the Chaitanyapuri Police brought the situation under control before it could worsen further.

A formal complaint has been registered, and the investigation is currently underway to identify and apprehend all individuals involved in the attack. Law enforcement agencies are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas to trace the vehicle and confirm the sequence of events. The incident has once again raised concerns about public safety and reckless behavior on Hyderabad’s roads, especially under the influence of alcohol and narcotics.
