Vaisakhi Tragedy in Italy: Two Indians Shot Dead Outside Gurdwara

In a shocking incident in Italy, two Indian men were shot dead outside a gurdwara in the town of Covo, located in Bergamo province. The attack took place late at night as the victims were leaving a warehouse that was being used as a place of worship during Vaisakhi celebrations. The sudden shooting has created fear within the local Indian community.

The victims have been identified as Raginder Singh and Gurmit Singh, both aged 48. According to reports, the attacker approached them, opened fire, and then fled the scene in a car. Around ten bullet shells were recovered from the spot, indicating a targeted attack rather than a random fight. Initial investigation suggests that this was not a spontaneous clash but possibly a planned execution.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to identify and arrest the suspect. A witness claimed that the attacker may also be of Indian origin and was known to visit the gurdwara. Meanwhile, another person was slightly injured during the shooting. The incident has raised serious concerns about safety, especially as it occurred just before an official Vaisakhi event in the area.
