Five Injured, House Destroyed in Suspected LPG Blast at Hyderabad’s Jagadgirigutta

Hyderabad: Panic struck residents of Jagadgirigutta’s Asbestos Colony in the early hours of Wednesday after a massive explosion ripped through a house, leaving five members of a family injured. The injured, which included two children, were rushed to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. Locals reported hearing a deafening noise that not only destroyed the house completely but also caused fear in the surrounding neighborhood.

Initial reports suggest that the blast may have been triggered by a suspected LPG gas leak, though officials have not yet confirmed the exact cause. The impact of the explosion was so severe that the structure of the house collapsed, leaving nearby residents in shock. Eyewitnesses said they immediately rushed to rescue those trapped inside before police and emergency teams arrived at the site.

Soon after the incident, fire and police personnel cordoned off the area and carried out rescue operations. Authorities are currently investigating the precise reason behind the blast and assessing the damage caused.
