TGSRTC Expands Boarding and Drop-Off Facilities for Hyderabad-Bengaluru Bus Passengers

The has announced a major expansion of boarding and alighting points for its AC Sleeper and non-AC bus services operating between and , aiming to provide greater convenience and accessibility for passengers travelling between the two metropolitan cities. Under the revised arrangement, commuters will now have access to several additional boarding locations across Bengaluru, reducing the need to travel long distances to reach major bus terminals. TGSRTC officials stated that the initiative is part of the corporation’s ongoing efforts to improve interstate connectivity and enhance the overall travel experience for thousands of passengers who regularly commute between Telangana and Karnataka.

According to the updated service plan, passengers travelling from Bengaluru can now board TGSRTC buses from multiple strategic locations, including Peenya, Yeshwanthpur Metro Station, Kempegowda Bus Station (Majestic), Hebbal, Esteem Mall, Yelahanka, Bengaluru Airport Toll Plaza and Devanahalli Bypass. In addition, the corporation has extended its service coverage to several other busy residential and commercial areas such as Chandapura, Bommasandra, Electronic City, Bommanahalli Metro, Madiwala, Marathahalli, Varthur Junction and Domlur Bridge. Officials believe that these additional pickup and drop-off points will significantly reduce travel time within the city and offer passengers the flexibility to board buses from locations closer to their homes, workplaces and transit hubs.

Similarly, passengers travelling to and from Hyderabad will benefit from expanded boarding and alighting facilities across major transit corridors in the city. The designated routes include the Patancheru–MGBS–Aramghar–Shamshabad corridor, the JBS–MGBS–Aramghar–Shamshabad route, and the Hayathnagar–MGBS–Aramghar–Shamshabad stretch, ensuring wider accessibility across the city. TGSRTC officials emphasized that the expansion reflects the corporation’s commitment to providing hassle-free and passenger-friendly interstate travel services while accommodating the growing demand on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru route. Passengers can continue to reserve their seats and access updated travel information through the official TGSRTC booking platform.
