This tremor is the second to hit the region within a span of just three days, the previous one being a 4.0 magnitude quake recorded early Saturday morning. The latest earthquake occurred around 1:26 PM IST, with its epicenter located at a depth of 10 kilometers. It registered a latitude of 29.12°N and longitude of 67.26°E, causing tremors that were felt across several northern and western regions of the country.
Though no casualties or major damages have been reported so far, residents in the affected areas described moments of panic as buildings and homes shook mildly. Authorities have issued alerts in seismic-prone zones and advised citizens to remain cautious and adhere to safety guidelines.
