Rapido Launches Women-Only ‘Pink Bike’ Service in Hyderabad

Rapido has introduced its new Pink Bike service in Hyderabad, offering a women-only ride option aimed at providing safer and more comfortable two-wheeler travel for female passengers. Under the initiative, only women riders (captains) will be matched with women customers, making it especially useful for students and working professionals, including those commuting during late evening hours. The service is part of Rapido’s effort to enhance safety while expanding transportation choices for women across the city.

Apart from benefiting passengers, the initiative also creates flexible earning opportunities for women interested in becoming bike captains. Rapido has stated that there are no fixed login requirements, allowing captains to choose their own working hours. According to the company, women riders can earn an estimated ₹400 for around two hours of work and ₹800 for approximately four hours, while retaining their complete ride earnings through a 0% commission policy.

To encourage more women to join the platform, Rapido is also offering several incentives, including a joining bonus of up to ₹5,000 along with additional daily and weekly rewards. The company believes the Pink Bike service will not only improve mobility for women in Hyderabad but also support financial independence by providing a flexible source of income for female riders.
