A shocking incident has come to light in Rajasthan’s Khairthal Tijara district, where the body of a man was discovered stuffed inside a drum on a rooftop. The deceased, identified as Hansram alias Suraj, hailed from Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh and had been living in Adarsh Colony, Kishangarhbas, along with his wife and three children. Police said the victim bore a throat injury inflicted by a sharp weapon, indicating a brutal attack.
The discovery was made after neighbors complained of a foul smell emanating from the rooftop. Upon inspection, police found that the body had been covered with salt in an apparent attempt to speed up decomposition and conceal the crime. The gruesome nature of the incident has sent shockwaves through the local community, with many questioning how such an act could go unnoticed for days.
Investigations revealed that Hansram had rented the rooftop room about one and a half months ago while working at a nearby brick kiln. However, since Saturday, his wife Sunita, their three children, and the landlord’s son Jitendra have been missing, raising suspicions of their involvement or possible foul play. Police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to trace the missing family members and bring clarity to the mysterious circumstances surrounding the murder.
