KTR, MLA of Bharat Rashtra Samithi, has filed a defamation case against Telangana Minister Konda Surekha at the Nampally court. This follows her remarks linking him to the divorce of Tollywood actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya. KTR had previously sent a legal notice to the minister demanding a withdrawal of her statements and an unconditional public apology.
Minister Konda Surekha had alleged that KTR was responsible for the divorce, claiming he demanded Samantha be sent to him in exchange for not demolishing the N-Convention. However, Samantha refuted these claims, stating her divorce was mutual and amicable with no political conspiracy involved.
