Hyderabad-Bound Private Bus Overturns in Sangareddy, Two Injured

At least two passengers were injured after a Hyderabad-bound private bus overturned in Sangareddy district on Tuesday morning, December 23. The bus, carrying 36 passengers, was travelling from Karnataka to Hyderabad when the accident occurred on National Highway 65 near Kohir, triggering panic among those onboard.

According to preliminary reports, the bus veered off the road and overturned near the Chintha Ghat area after the driver allegedly attempted to overtake another vehicle. Fearing that the bus might catch fire, passengers broke open the emergency exit and crawled out to safety. Locals rushed to the spot and helped passengers evacuate the overturned vehicle.

The injured were shifted to the government hospital in Zaheerabad for treatment, while others escaped with minor injuries. Police later removed the bus from the highway and shifted it to the local police station to clear traffic. An investigation has been initiated to determine the exact cause of the accident.
