Hyderabad: BJP’s Bandi Sanjay Detained Amid TGPSC Group 1 Exam Protest

Bandi Sanjay, Bharatiya Janata Party leader, was detained by Hyderabad police on October 19 while leading a protest alongside aspirants demanding the postponement of the TGPSC Group 1 exam. The protest, which began at Ashok Nagar, aimed to meet Telangana officials at the Secretariat to address concerns over the exam schedule and Government Orders impacting recruitment and reservation.

The detention occurred amid escalating tensions and a massive traffic jam between Musheerabad and Lower Tank Bund. Police deployed additional personnel to manage the situation. The protest followed Friday’s police action against Group 1 services aspirants, which drew criticism from opposition parties.
