Hyderabad: 9 Arrested in Rowdy-Sheeter Nayeem Murder Case, 4 Accused Still Absconding

Hyderabad police have arrested nine persons in connection with the brutal murder of rowdy-sheeter Mohammed Nayeem, who was hacked to death at Supreme Wines in Bandlaguda on the night of September 14. The arrests were made by the Special Operations Team (SOT) of LB Nagar Zone along with Nagole police. According to investigators, the murder was the result of an ongoing rivalry and alleged threats, with police stating that the attack was planned in advance.

During the investigation, police found that the prime accused allegedly conspired to eliminate Nayeem and involved several associates in executing the crime. The accused reportedly met in Khammam a day before the incident, stayed overnight, finalized the murder plan, and returned to Hyderabad, where they allegedly carried out the attack. Nine suspects have been arrested so far, while four others remain absconding and are being actively searched by police.

Police seized key evidence during the operation, including a hunting sickle believed to have been used in the attack, an iron pan, a Toyota car, a Hero Glamour motorcycle, and a Suzuki Access scooter. A case has been registered under Section 103(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Nagole Police Station, and further investigation is underway to trace the remaining accused and establish the complete sequence of events.
