Former health minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader T Harish Rao was denied entry to Gandhi Hospital by police after a woman, Buchamma, died by suicide fearing demolition of her house by HYDRA. Rao called Buchamma’s death a “state murder” committed by the Revanth Reddy state government.
Buchamma, a Kukatpally resident, hanged herself fearing homelessness. Her daughters described her as courageous and strong, contradicting reports of suicide due to personal weakness. Rao questioned how many more lives would be lost due to alleged government atrocities.
