Goa Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik Dies of Cardiac Arrest at 79

Goa’s former Chief Minister and current Agriculture Minister, Ravi Naik, passed away late Tuesday night due to a cardiac arrest. He was 79. Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant expressed deep sorrow over Naik’s demise, describing him as a stalwart of Goan politics whose decades-long service left a lasting impact on the state’s governance and public welfare.

Dr. Sawant, in his condolence message, highlighted Naik’s leadership, humility, and dedication to public service, noting that his contributions would always be remembered.
