Three Naxalites, Budhram Korsa, Chhotu Lekam, and Lakhan Kunjam, were arrested in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh, on Saturday. The District Reserve Guard and local police seized a tiffin bomb, detonating cord, safety fuse, and Maoist materials from them during an anti-Naxal operation.
The suspects were apprehended near Nainpal and Pulsumpara villages under Gangalur police station limits. The police official stated that the operation began on Friday, leading to the successful arrest of the Naxalites.
