Bharti Airtel has announced revised postpaid plans with higher tariffs, which will come into effect from October 8. The telecom operator has increased the prices of its postpaid plans by around 3 to 10 percent, with the entry-level individual plan now costing Rs 499 instead of Rs 449. The updated portfolio includes plans priced between Rs 499 and Rs 1,799, catering to both individual users and families with support for up to five SIM connections. Airtel said the revised plans are aimed at providing customers with enhanced services and added value.
One of the key highlights of the new plans is the inclusion of a complimentary international roaming benefit. Under this offer, each SIM will receive one free international roaming trip every year, including 5GB of data, 60 minutes of voice calls, 25 outgoing SMS, and free incoming SMS, all valid for five days. The plans also continue to offer unlimited calling and data benefits, while selected family plans include a Netflix Standard subscription along with Airtel’s built-in spam and fraud protection features.
According to Airtel, the new postpaid plans will be available to all customers from October 8. Existing Airtel users, including both postpaid and prepaid subscribers, can also upgrade to the revised plans. The company said the updated offerings are designed to strengthen its premium postpaid experience by combining reliable network performance, enhanced security features, entertainment benefits, and international connectivity for customers.
