AIMIM Leader Sheikh Munir Joins BRS, Boosts Party Ahead of Jubilee Hills Bypoll

Hyderabad: In a political boost for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) ahead of the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election, Borabanda division AIMIM president Sheikh Munir joined the party on Thursday, October 16. Munir, who previously contested as a corporator, joined along with his supporters in the presence of BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR).

Welcoming Munir into the BRS, KTR draped him with the party’s pink scarf and said his inclusion would strengthen the party’s campaign in the constituency. He expressed confidence that Munir’s presence and grassroots network would help energize local cadres during the crucial election period.

Party leaders noted that Sheikh Munir commands significant influence among the minority community in Borabanda, and his entry is expected to bolster the BRS’s support base in the area. With polling set for November 11 and counting on November 14, all major parties have intensified their outreach and mobilisation efforts in Jubilee Hills.
