US Issues 30-Day Ultimatum to Israel Over Gaza Humanitarian Crisis

The United States has given Israel a 30-day ultimatum to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, warning that it will halt military aid if significant improvements are not made. The warning was issued by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin in a letter to Israeli officials.

The conflict between Israel and Hamas has resulted in over 35,000 deaths, including 7,797 minors, 4,959 women, and 1,924 elderly, according to UN estimates. The US has expressed concern over Israel’s actions, including halting commercial imports and restricting humanitarian movements, which have exacerbated the crisis.
