Rahul Gandhi Slams BJP Over Job Losses, Inflation in Haryana

Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP, has accused the BJP government of taking away job opportunities from the youth in Haryana. He made these comments while seeking votes to create jobs and control inflation. Gandhi criticized the Agnipath scheme, saying it was designed to deny Agniveers their pension, canteen facility, and martyr status.

Gandhi shared his experience of meeting 15-20 youths from Haryana living in a small room in the US. They told him about the struggles they faced due to unemployment back home, forcing them to undertake illegal immigration to Western countries. He blamed the BJP for snatching employment opportunities and promised that his government would provide Rs 2,000 to women every month and MSP to farmers.

The 90-member Haryana Assembly elections are scheduled for October 5, with the BJP aiming for a hat-trick and Congress seeking to return to power after 2014. He also criticized the BJP government for creating two Hindustans – one for the wealthy and one for the poor, laborers, farmers, and backward classes.
