MP Police Remove Students From Train While Travelling to Delhi for CJP Protest

Nearly 15 students travelling from Pune to New Delhi to participate in the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest were allegedly asked to get off the Goa Express at Itarsi Junction in Madhya Pradesh’s Narmadapuram district. A video circulating on social media appears to show police personnel asking the students to leave the train, drawing widespread attention online.

According to reports, the students were on their way to attend the CJP demonstration scheduled for October 10 at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Government Railway Police Inspector Sanjay Choukse confirmed that the students were disembarked from the train and later released respectfully. However, officials did not disclose the reason behind the action. Police also stated that the students are staying at a hotel in Itarsi of their own free will.

The CJP has called for a protest demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, alleging irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The incident involving the students has triggered political debate and widespread discussion on social media, with questions being raised over the circumstances under which they were removed from the train.
