Hyderabad: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has appointed Bahadurpura MLA Mohammed Mubeen as the new in-charge of the Rajendranagar Assembly constituency. The announcement was made by the party on Sunday, August 30, through its official X account. According to the party, Mubeen has been authorised to represent AIMIM and oversee organisational activities in the constituency. Party office-bearers and workers in Rajendranagar have also been instructed to coordinate with him on all organisational matters.
Following the announcement, Mohammed Mubeen expressed his gratitude to AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi and Telangana Assembly floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi for placing their trust in him. In a message shared on social media, he thanked the party leadership for the responsibility and pledged to work sincerely to strengthen the organisation in Rajendranagar. The appointment marks an important organisational change for AIMIM in one of Hyderabad’s key Assembly constituencies.
The development comes a day after AIMIM expelled Telangana Legislative Council member Mirza Rahmath Baig from the party with immediate effect. The party also directed Baig to resign from his MLC post, although no official reason was given for the disciplinary action. Mohammed Mubeen’s appointment as Rajendranagar in-charge is being seen as AIMIM’s move to ensure continuity in the constituency’s organisational structure following the leadership change.
