Cockroach Janta Party Warns of Nationwide Agitation Over Exam Controversies

New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party has warned that its protest campaign will continue and expand across the country if Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan does not resign or is not removed from office within the next seven days. The statement was made by the campaign’s founder, Abhijeet Dipke, a day after a large demonstration was held at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Dipke claimed that the protest reflected growing frustration among students and job seekers over alleged irregularities in the conduct of competitive examinations and recruitment tests.

Addressing supporters through social media and later speaking to reporters, Dipke said the movement would not end with the Delhi protest and that a broader action plan would soon be announced. According to him, the agitation aims to highlight concerns regarding transparency and accountability in examination systems. Organisers described the gathering as a peaceful demonstration intended to draw attention to issues affecting millions of students across the country. The group has stated that it plans to mobilise supporters in multiple states if its demands remain unaddressed.

The protest gained momentum following allegations surrounding the cancellation of the undergraduate NEET examination and claims of irregularities in other national-level tests, including examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education and the Staff Selection Commission. The Cockroach Janta Party, which describes itself as a youth-led campaign, was launched in May and has rapidly gained attention on social media platforms. Its emergence has sparked debate about student grievances, unemployment concerns, and the growing use of digital platforms to organise large-scale public movements across India.
