Brazilian Model Larissa Responds After Rahul Gandhi Alleges Her Photo Was Used in Haryana Vote Fraud

A Brazilian woman identified as Larissa has reacted after Rahul Gandhi claimed that her photo was allegedly used multiple times in Haryana’s voter list to enable fake voting. Rahul Gandhi had accused the Election Commission and BJP of “colluding to ensure Congress lost in Haryana,” alleging that the model’s picture appeared across 10 polling booths. Following his remarks, the incident drew widespread public attention, with many searching online to identify the woman whose image had become part of the controversy.

In a video shared on X, Larissa expressed surprise and mild amusement after discovering her old modelling photo being linked to an election in India. Speaking in Portuguese, she said she was around 18–20 years old in the picture and had no idea it was being misused. She explained that a reporter contacted her salon for an interview, and when she didn’t respond, he reached out to her through Instagram. She mentioned that even friends from other cities had started sending her the viral image, leaving her puzzled about how it reached India’s voter rolls.

According to reports, Larissa is no longer a model and now runs a salon in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Her reaction has added a global twist to the political controversy in India, which continues to draw sharp responses from the Congress and BJP. The viral video has intensified the debate around electoral transparency, with the model’s unexpected involvement highlighting the seriousness of allegations surrounding identity misuse in the Haryana elections.
