Union Urban Affairs and Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated the first-ever 24-hour drinking water supply project in Karimnagar, Telangana. The project, implemented as a pilot in five divisions of the city, was undertaken at a cost of ₹18 crore. This initiative will provide uninterrupted water supply to approximately 6,000 connections, marking a milestone in the region’s infrastructure development.

During his visit to Karimnagar, the Minister also inaugurated a multipurpose building, constructed at a cost of ₹12.35 crore, and a state-of-the-art sports school complex valued at ₹22 crore. The events were attended by Union Minister of State for Home Sanjay Kumar, along with prominent state ministers, further emphasizing the collaboration between the central and state governments in enhancing public utilities and sports facilities.

Manohar Lal Khattar highlighted the government’s commitment to modernizing urban infrastructure and improving the quality of life for residents. These projects aim to set an example for other regions to implement similar initiatives for sustainable development and efficient resource management.
