MLC Amer Ali Khan Launches Major Overseas Job Initiative to Uplift Muslim Youth

In a landmark move to economically empower Muslim youth, Telangana Congress MLC and Siasat News Editor Amer Ali Khan has launched a major overseas recruitment drive in collaboration with the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Ltd. (TOMCOM). Held at the Siasat Auditorium in Hyderabad, the initiative drew a massive turnout of job seekers aspiring to work in countries like Japan, Qatar, UAE, and Fiji. Amer Ali Khan emphasized the historical role of The Siasat Daily in promoting education and employment, stating that the publication has always worked for the community’s welfare—starting with education and now focusing on sustainable economic upliftment.

Recalling Siasat’s impactful work during the Gulf job boom of the 1980s, Khan noted how thousands of Muslims were able to secure overseas employment through classified ads published free of cost. This new collaboration between Siasat Hub Foundation (S-Hub) and TOMCOM aims to bring structure and government support to overseas job placements. With active government involvement, the initiative now identifies international job openings and screens eligible candidates from various professional backgrounds, including IT, Engineering, and technical domains. Sunday’s screening event, attended by TOMCOM officials, saw a packed house of hopeful candidates and marked the beginning of many such recruitment drives to come.

Amer Ali Khan pledged to make a lasting impact before his MLC term ends in 2030, declaring a goal to help one lakh families achieve financial stability through employment. He also cited Islamic teachings on the importance of helping others find jobs, calling it a “continuous source of reward.” With support from TOMCOM officers, Siasat Hub Foundation, and enthusiastic young professionals, Khan’s initiative has set a new benchmark in community-driven development. Future collaborations with other government departments are expected, ensuring that deserving youth gain access to both national and international employment pipelines.
