A major accident was narrowly avoided after a passenger bus travelling from Karimnagar to Husnabad crashed into the wall of an open agricultural well near Sundaragiri village in Chigurumamidi mandal on Wednesday. According to reports, the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle, causing the bus to veer off the road before hitting the well’s protective wall and coming to a halt.

Several passengers were on board at the time of the accident. Some of them sustained minor injuries and were provided immediate medical assistance. The impact caused panic among the passengers, but the bus stopped before falling into the well, preventing what could have been a far more serious tragedy.

Authorities and local residents rushed to the spot soon after the incident and helped rescue the passengers from the bus. No fatalities or major injuries were reported. The incident is being viewed as a narrow escape, while further details regarding the cause of the accident are expected after the authorities complete their inquiry.
