A sudden fire broke out last night at a bike mechanic shop in the busy Kukatpally area of Hyderabad, resulting in three motorcycles and several batteries being completely destroyed. Eyewitnesses said the flames spread rapidly, causing panic among nearby shopkeepers.

Firefighters rushed to the spot upon receiving the alert and managed to bring the fire under control after a tough effort. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, but the estimated property loss runs into lakhs of rupees. The shop owner stated that several valuable tools and equipment were also lost in the blaze.

According to officials from the Fire Department, a short circuit is suspected to be the primary cause of the fire, although a complete report is awaited. Police have also arrived at the scene and launched an investigation, urging locals to take preventive safety measures.
