BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) has launched a sharp critique of Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s repeated visits to the national capital, calling them unproductive and symbolic of misplaced priorities. Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), KTR posted a list of numbers from 1 to 50 — symbolizing each of Revanth’s trips to Delhi — and mockingly stated, “These are not mere numbers but a chronicle of a Chief Minister’s unending commute.” He further added, “50 TRIPS – ZERO RESULTS!” to emphasize what he sees as the fruitlessness of these frequent official journeys.
Highlighting what he described as a “half-century” of pointless visits, KTR accused the Chief Minister of using flights more than files to run the state. “In his 20-month tenure, Revanth Reddy has visited Delhi 50 times. He has achieved nothing for Telangana except empty words,” KTR claimed. He argued that these visits had yielded no tangible benefit for the state and criticized the Congress-led administration for lacking direction and execution. “The state needs a Chief Minister who governs, not a ‘tourist CM’,” KTR asserted in a strongly worded post.
The war of words between the BRS and Congress continues to escalate as BRS prepares to counter the Congress government’s “White Paper” with its own “Sweat Paper.” KTR’s public criticism not only targets Revanth Reddy’s travel record but also aims to rally political sentiment ahead of future political showdowns. The sarcastic tone of the social media post and the phrase “హస్తిన యాత్రలో అర్ధశతకం సాధించిన రేవంత్!” (Revanth scores a half-century in Delhi trips) further reflects the BRS leadership’s intent to portray the Chief Minister as disengaged from Telangana’s ground realities.
