Six individuals accused of vandalizing actor Allu Arjun’s residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, were granted bail today. The incident, which occurred yesterday, saw the protesters pelting the house with stones and tomatoes, breaking flower pots, and attempting to force entry. The group demanded that the actor provide ₹1 crore as compensation to the family of a 35-year-old woman who tragically lost her life in a stampede during the premiere of “Pushpa 2: The Rule.”
Advocate Ramdas, speaking to the media, confirmed that the accused were produced in court earlier this morning, where their bail was approved. The protesters accused Allu Arjun of neglecting the victim’s family, who faced a devastating loss during the crowd surge at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The stampede also left the victim’s young son in critical condition, prompting widespread public outrage.
In a related development, Allu Arjun himself was briefly detained and questioned by the police regarding the incident. The actor expressed his discontent with the police for invading his personal space by entering his bedroom during the arrest. The authorities have also taken action against the theatre owner and two employees, holding them accountable for the mismanagement that led to the tragic stampede.
