Hyderabad police have seized fake goods worth Rs 2 lakh from Begum Bazar in a raid conducted on Sunday, October 13. The operation, carried out by the commissioner’s task force central (zone) and copyright authentication field agents, resulted in the arrest of three individuals: Ramesh Kumar Parmar, 40, Hitesh Pawar, 22, and Ramesh Kumar, 34 ¹.
The accused were found to be selling duplicate items, including Good Night liquids, coils, Lizol Surface Cleaner liquids, and Fevikwik. According to reports, they had developed connections with agents selling duplicate goods after failing to make a profit from legitimate sales.

The raid was also conducted in Erragada, highlighting the police’s efforts to curb counterfeit activities in the city ¹.
