Kalyan raised alarms over allegations that the traditional sweets were made with adulterated ghee containing animal fats, including fish and pork fat. He called for accountability from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which oversees the temple operations, and proposed the establishment of a “Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board” to address temple-related issues at a national level.
