A seven-year-old girl lost her life and three other students were injured after a staircase collapsed at a government primary school in Bihar’s Khagaria district on Wednesday morning. The tragic incident occurred around 10 a.m. in Amni village under the Mansi police station area. The deceased has been identified as Ritika Kumari, a Class 1 student, while the injured children were rushed to Sadar Hospital for treatment.
According to local police, the staircase suddenly gave way while students were present, trapping several children under the debris. Emergency responders and local residents quickly launched a rescue operation to pull the students to safety.
