Patna Court Grants Relief to Khan Sir in Coaching Institute Firing Case

A court in Patna on Monday granted anticipatory bail to educator Faisal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir, in connection with a case arising from a firing incident at his coaching institute. Along with Khan Sir, three staff members of the institute were also granted anticipatory bail, providing them protection from arrest in the matter. The order was passed by the Patna Civil Court after hearing the case.

According to the case details, the incident took place in early June when a group of alleged miscreants vandalised Khan Sir’s coaching institute. During the unrest, two security guards posted at the institute allegedly opened fire, leading to the registration of a criminal case. The court also granted regular bail to both security guards, who had been arrested in connection with the firing incident.

Khan Sir’s lawyer, Arvind Kumar Mouar, confirmed that all six individuals received relief from the court. The anticipatory bail order came after the court had reserved its verdict on July 8 following final arguments from both sides. The decision, which was initially expected earlier, had been postponed until July 13 due to the district judge being on leave.
