According to the forecast, cloud cover will persist throughout the day, with mist or hazy conditions expected in the early morning and late-night hours. A similar weather pattern is likely to continue on Friday, making residents brace for another spell of unstable conditions.

Officials have cautioned that the downpour could result in waterlogging in low-lying areas, drainage clogging, and severe traffic congestion across major routes in the city. Slippery roads are also expected to pose risks for motorists, especially during peak commuting hours. The forecast has triggered concerns among daily commuters and civic authorities, who are now preparing for potential disruptions in traffic flow and emergency responses in vulnerable localities.

Independent weather forecaster T. Balaji also noted that Hyderabad is experiencing an “extremely humid day,” creating unstable atmospheric conditions. While the city may remain dry till late evening, isolated to scattered thunderstorms are likely to intensify during the night and possibly continue overnight.
