Hyderabad witnessed a fatal accident in Vanasthalipuram on Wednesday, February 26, when an unidentified vehicle rammed into an autorickshaw, leading to the deaths of two passengers. The victims, identified as Syed Ismail (48) from Musheerabad and Syed Ghouse (40) from Hafeezpet, were returning from the wholesale fruit market in Hayathnagar along with two others, Sayeed and Suleman. As they reached Sushma Theater Road, a speeding vehicle struck their auto from behind, throwing Ismail and Ghouse onto the road with severe injuries. Passersby rushed them to Osmania General Hospital, but both succumbed to their injuries during treatment.

Vanasthalipuram police have registered a case of death due to negligence under Section 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and an investigation is currently underway to trace the vehicle responsible for the crash. Inspector Srinivas Rao confirmed that authorities are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify the culprit.
