A devastating road accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda district claimed the lives of 11 people on Sunday. The tragedy unfolded when a Bolero SUV, carrying 15 passengers, lost control and plunged into a canal. Initial reports suggest that the vehicle was returning from a temple visit when the driver lost control, leading to the fatal plunge. Local police and rescue teams reached the site and managed to pull out the victims, but 11 had already lost their lives.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed deep sorrow over the incident. He extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and assured all possible support.
