In connection with the Biennial Elections to the Telangana Legislative Council from the Hyderabad Local Authorities Constituency, the Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for April 23, the polling day, and April 25, the counting day. To ensure smooth conduct of the election process at the GHMC Head Office, vehicular movement will be restricted between GHMC ‘T’ Junction and BRKR Bhavan Junction from 6 AM to 6 PM on both days.

According to the traffic authorities, all vehicles approaching from Liberty and Basheerbagh towards Telugu Thalli Junction via BRKR Lane will be diverted at the GHMC ‘T’ Junction towards Ambedkar Statue. The road closure is aimed at facilitating safe and uninterrupted movement for election-related personnel and material.

Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly and use alternative routes to avoid delays and inconvenience. The Hyderabad Traffic Police has urged citizens to cooperate during this period and follow traffic diversions strictly to ensure public safety and smooth flow of traffic in the surrounding areas.
