Hyderabad, July 14, 2024 – The Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory in anticipation of large crowds expected to attend the Sri Jagadamba Mahankali Golconda Bonalu Celebrations. The event will see devotees from across the city and surrounding villages gathering at Golconda Fort on the following dates from 8 AM to 11 PM:
- 3rd Pooja: July 14, 2024
- 4th Pooja: July 18, 2024
- 5th Pooja: July 21, 2024
- 6th Pooja: July 25, 2024
- 7th Pooja: July 28, 2024
- 8th Pooja: August 1, 2024
- 9th Pooja: August 4, 2024
Traffic Congestion Expected:
Heavy traffic is anticipated on the following routes leading to Golconda Fort:
- Ramdevguda to Golconda Fort via Makkai Darwaza
- Langar Houz to Golconda Fort via Fathe Darwaza
- Shaikpet Nala, Seven Tombs to Golconda Fort via Banjara Darwaza
Advisory for Commuters:
Commuters are advised to take alternate routes to avoid congestion during the above dates and times.
Parking Arrangements:
To facilitate the smooth flow of devotees, designated parking areas have been arranged:
- From Ramdevguda:
- Four-wheelers: Military Ground opposite AOC Center Ramdevguda
- Two-wheelers: Ashoor Khana parking and beside Golconda Wall
- From Langar Houz:
- Two-wheelers: Huda Park
- Four-wheelers: Alankar Theatre and Old Petrol Pump adjacent to Alankar Theatre
- From Shaikpet, Seven Tombs:
- Two-wheelers: Golf Club parking
- Three and four-wheelers: Deccan Park
Devotees are urged to park at these designated locations and maintain order within parking areas. Cooperation with the Hyderabad Traffic Police is requested to ensure a safe and smooth celebration.
