Telangana’s power utilities have ceased accepting bill payments through payment gateways, causing inconvenience to consumers who prefer digital transactions. The decision, aimed at safeguarding consumers’ interests, follows concerns over technical glitches and erroneous deductions reported by users. As a result, customers are now required to rely on traditional methods such as cash or checks to settle their electricity bills until further notice from the authorities.
