Telangana Man Dies of Heart Attack Amid Israel Bombing Near Hospital in Tel Aviv

A man from Telangana’s Jagtial district, identified as Ravindra, tragically lost his life in Israel after suffering a heart attack during a wave of continuous bombings. Ravindra, who was working part-time in Israel on a visit visa, had repeatedly expressed his fear over the ongoing conflict in the region. According to his wife, R. Vijayalakshmi, he had mentioned over the phone that he was extremely anxious and terrified by the unrelenting airstrikes. “He told us he might lose his life,” she said, recalling his final conversations with the family before his death on June 15.

Ravindra reportedly began feeling unwell and had to spend significant time at a hospital in Israel. His wife stated that a bomb exploded close to the hospital premises, and the resulting trauma led to a fatal heart attack. Hospital authorities informed the family about his sudden demise. The tragic incident highlights the growing risks faced by Indian migrant workers in conflict-hit zones. Ravindra’s family, now grieving his loss, is seeking immediate assistance from the government.

Vijayalakshmi has made an emotional appeal to both the Telangana state government and the Centre, urging officials to help repatriate her husband’s body and secure a livelihood for their children. In response to the crisis, the Telangana government has established a 24×7 helpline at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to support citizens stuck in the conflict areas. Several liaison officers and contact numbers have been activated to provide on-ground assistance to distressed families and help bring stranded or affected individuals home safely.
