In a significant diplomatic engagement, Switzerland’s Ambassador to India, Maya Tissafi, met with Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on May 6 at the Integrated Command and Control Centre in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The meeting underscored Telangana’s growing ambition to attract foreign investments and foster international collaborations. CM Revanth Reddy presented the state as a promising destination for global investors, highlighting its robust infrastructure, business-friendly policies, and the scope for mutual cooperation between Telangana and Switzerland.

The Chief Minister conveyed Telangana’s readiness to welcome Swiss enterprises and facilitate smooth operations through government support and streamlined processes. Ambassador Tissafi responded positively, expressing Switzerland’s interest in exploring Telangana’s rapidly expanding market and acknowledged the potential for productive bilateral ties.
As part of the ceremonial proceedings, CM Revanth Reddy honored the Ambassador with a memento and a traditional shawl, symbolizing the warmth of Indo-Swiss friendship.
