Telangana Chief Minister Revnath Reddy inaugurated the sprawling HCL Tech KRC campus in Hyderabad, underscoring the state’s commitment to rapid development and economic expansion. The 3.2 lakh square feet facility is expected to create 5,000 new jobs, reinforcing Hyderabad’s position as a preferred destination for multinational investments. Speaking at the event, CM Reddy emphasized the state’s continuous efforts to sign MoUs with global corporations, ensuring steady employment opportunities. He highlighted Telangana’s strides in artificial intelligence, green energy, life sciences, and EV adoption, positioning the state as a leader in India’s tech-driven future.
During his address, CM Reddy took a firm stand against skeptics who had earlier questioned his ambitious vision of making Telangana a trillion-dollar economy. He cited the signing of investment deals worth Rs 41,000 crore and Rs 1.78 lakh crore during two Davos visits as evidence of the state’s growing financial strength. Emphasizing Hyderabad’s ability to attract high-value businesses, he stated that the city is not competing with domestic metropolises like Mumbai or Bengaluru but is instead setting global benchmarks. With record-breaking investments and innovative industry growth, the CM declared that Telangana’s economic rise is unstoppable.
HCL Tech, which has been operating in Hyderabad since 2007, received special praise from CM Reddy for its contributions to India’s technology landscape. The company, with a presence in over 60 countries and a workforce of 2.2 lakh employees, continues to excel in digital transformation, cloud computing, and engineering solutions. The newly inaugurated campus further cements Hyderabad’s role as a tech hub, creating opportunities for skilled professionals and fostering innovation. With this development, Telangana continues its upward trajectory, proving its potential as a premier destination for global enterprises.
